How to take great pictures of your paintings
I use to struggle so much taking pictures of my paintings. They always ended up with some type of light reflection coming from somewhere or the colors were just not right.
There are many ways to do it but I am happy to share with you how it works for me.
Choose a cloudy day
Place your canvas up right on a wall, easel or chair.
I use a piece of wood to lift my painting up.
That I don’t see the border of the easel.
Place your camera on a trypod
For best results use a remote control (or self trigger)
Don’t zoom in too much
So simple and it works. Have fun taking your own pictures!
